I wanted to add some gauges and stuff to the old dent but there is of course no where to put it. Solved that issue. Built me a custom fit console. I took it one step further (since I rarely under build anything) and I got all Arduino crazy and set up all the switches and pushbuttons to be connected to an Arduino Mega micro controller. I took a 1974 truck and added my own version of a 2015 body controller to it. Still need to finish the programming but I will be able to see, monitor and control pretty much anything electrical in the truck when it is done. Overkill? Heck yes. But it will be so very cool. I will be doing a black carpet kit shortly and will carpet the sides of it in the same carpet. Tere is a tray that drops in between the console and the seat to drop sunglasses and crumbs in but there is a galvanized pan inside the cup holder that comes out for easy cleaning. The whole thing lights up in green including the inside of the cupholder. I will upload pics of that when I get it finished.
