Couple questions. I'm trying to find the power inverter on my 2014 F-350, does anyone know where the actual inverter is? Also my second question I notice that it says 150W is it possible to put a more powerful inverter in its place so that it works only when the truck is on? Trying to put about a 500w or a 750w inverter in.
I cant help with the exact location...but the issue with 150W vs 750W is , can the wiring and the fuse support the load difference.......depending on the grade of electronics....150W inverter would draw 15 amps....a 750W inverter would draw 75 amps. for the later, odds are you would need to put in a dedicated DC power line to a second battery that sits behind a battery isolator so that way your discharging of the additional battery would not prevent you from starting your vehicle.
