Considering N-Fab steps

I am considering the cab length N-Fab steps for my 97.

Now I know everyone says that the N-Fab steps are mounted poorly for our trucks. But I have not heard of anything bad ever happening from anyone that has used them. And at 140lbs, I don't think I'm heavy enough to hurt anything.
I would obviously prefer frame mounted, but there is not a lot of options for those.

I used to have nerf bars, and wasn't really a fan of those and I don't care for the hoops steps, which is why I'm looking at N-Fab.

If anyone here has ever had any problems with them please let me know.

Never heard of them but if you're worried about them breaking, then fab up some extensions to go from the bar to the frame and then mount them.

I have never seen how the N-Fabs out in person but bolting to the flimsy rocker is not the best idea.

I just wish they would make frame mounted ones like these

They do mount to the rocker, but I'm not sure how exactly...I haven't seen one either.

Like I said, I would prefer frame mounted, but I like the look of the N-Fab's so I might give them a shot.
