P0443 EVAP canister code after changing intake gaskets
I just replaced my upper intake isolator bolts, gaskets, and lower intake manifold gaskets. This was mainly to address P1131 and P1151 lean codes. The battery was disconnected for a while which I believe resets the CEL. Anyway, after some issues I was finally able to get everything back together.
I started it up and although I dont believe it was there on the first startup, I got a P0443 code. This is what I got from autozone:
Definition: Indicates a fault in the Evaporative Emission System Control Valve electrical circuit for a predetermined period of time.
The clerk said it was one of these and offered to order me a new one. He cleared the code in my van, and on my next startup and drive home (15-20 min) I had no light... I thought maybe I was in the clear and it was something residual from my work. But then on my next startup (about a 20 minutes after getting home) the CEL was back again.
Is this likely related to my intake work somehow? I dont believe I touched this part but perhaps I indirectly affected something?
Thanks for any ideas/suggestions
