Who Made This CPS?
I have a used CPS that I will keep as a spare. It is black and has the number 1876736c91 cast into it directly opposite of the electrical plug. It also has 3J13 etched into it on the face of the plug just up from the lock nub. I cannot find any Ford numbers or emblems on it. Who made it? Is it any good? Or should I get another to keep as a spare?
Thanks,
Mark

Take a picture and post it up. Sounds like the original OEM one based on your description.

The 187 . . . number is a Navistar part number.

LOL, you'll have to go buy your own old used motors and get your own.
However...I do have this old school bus...what year did they turn gray?

I think they went gray around '08-'09. I know Clay had some of those black ones a short time a few years back. They dried up quick though.

I still have some.
But I also take care of three 7.3L PSD's.
