Ok so im really wanting to get my hands on a super 10 flowmaster. It would be for my 2000 f250 with the 5.4l.
Im not wanting to mess with anything from the cat up honestly, but I've tossed the idea around of investing into a high flow cat.
Wanting to leave current ypipe and manifolds on it, no time or money for all of that right now. I'm mainly after the sound and slight (if any) increase in mpg.
I'd be going with a 3" in double 2.5 out. Would it be worth it to use a connector to jump to the regular 3" pipe right off the muffler? Or bite the bullet and have some 2.5" pipes custom bent? I want to have both pipes dump out in the stock position (behind passenger rear tire).
i am not a fan of the super 10. it is about the same as just running straight pipe. way too loud.
I cut my stock muffler out and put a flex pipe to dump it right out the side (to swap a guy for Another muffler). I actually liked the sound of it without a muffler. It was loud, but not ridiculous. Drone was there a little bit, but I like the deep super aggressive sound on the exterior and mild/moderate sound on the interior
Just more harassment from Law enforcement I have been pulled over for loud exhaust 4 times since putting 40 series flowmasters on my truck. Although Washignton state seemed to be more likely to give me a ticket. All of them were verbal warnings. no kitties dual 3" gibson equal length headers with a side exit. I have also set off a bunch of car alarms. No way would I run 10s.
