He's working on it. Tomorrow should be the last day. It almost always takes three times to get everything aligned and the swelling down enough it stays that way.
Hannah got done with surgery and up to her room about an hour ago. For the first time that I can remember they finished early! Apparently her cord was significantly tethered, but it wasn't difficult for him to release with a laser to remove scar tissue. She's crabby because she can't sit up for three days, but everything seems to be going well.
Glad things went well Tom. Give Hannah our best.

Jay, you spring order a new Yamaha sidewinder yet? You must have an extra $18000 for a 180hp factory turbo sled.
That would be a big NO! Looks cool and all but unless I win the lottery a new sled will never be in my future.
Has anyone here ever bought a used vehicle in Canada and imported it here? I'm looking at one in Winnipeg on CL that says they (GM dealer) take care of all that stuff like import / export etc..
Well it was a bit chilly under the ice today. My hands got really cold! One more dive and I will be ice certified. Hopefully the ice holds until next dive training.
Sounds like a good time Cory, even if it was a bit cold. It's always been a dream of mine to be a cop, but problems with my back make that unlikely. Did you get any pics?
After detethering the largest risk for Hannah is a CSF leak from the incision at the base of her spine. To minimize that risk she has to lay down for 3 days after surgery. Here's a riddle for everyone: How do you keep a 4-year-old horizontal for 72 hours?
It kind of bothers me to have her like this for so long, but there's really no other option. A lucid Hannah is an agitated Hannah, and agitated Hannah would want to sit up. SOP for kids around this age. That'll change Saturday morning though, and hopefully home shortly after.
