Will this cause a HPO leak?

I am at my whits end with this. I tore this standpipe out the other night by mistake (I was drinking a fair amount).... I was planning on pulling the dummy plugs as those leak more often, but when I saw this, I got excited. It looks like the teflon ring may be pushing the o-ring and making it leak? I hope to God this may be the end of my troubles... Please advise

I did do an air leak test. I had air escaping from back there by the standpipe somewhere (I never thought it could be the standpipe though)

Will be replacing the standpipe tonight and then retesting.

Fixed

i did fix this... it was none of the above problems. I had a few leaking injectors. I changed the oil and got almost 20 qts out. Mechanic said this was normal. Ran great for a while and the. Problem started again... new machine said to get the oil tested. Came back with catastrophic levels of diesel in the oil. The diesel was thinning out the oil so bad that the oil wasn't seating the seals. Changed all 8 injectors and truck runs good so far for the last 5k miles

Are you still doing oil analyses?
That will tell you if you did any real damage that can't be seen.

Get a new mechanic.

Prepare for turbo bearing issues in the future.

Time to change the oil again if it's been 5k miles, especially if the last change had 20 quarts come out. The HPO reservoir and oil rails held on to ~2 quarts of heavily diluted oil at the last change.
