Be careful... This kid spent all his weekends with dad after the dee vorce. Now he works in a body shop while his 3 siblings went to college and make the big bucks. Not saying who I am more proud of because it's equal. Just sayin'..... But don't take it quite that way, because the college kids lived with Dad full time, year round. The little guy stayed with his mom because he was only 5. I may have had some influence on him.

I would be completely happy to see all 5 of my kids doing whatever they love I went to college, was in the army, have had several good jobs, but I always revert to the love I have for time spent in the shop. My grandfather owned a model a restoration shop and my dad owns a Mustang restoration shop. old cars run in our blood. I will be proud of my kids no matter what they choose to do, but if they want to chill with me in the shop I am cool with that I would be honored if even one of them wanted to follow in my footsteps
I have a 1945 Ford in the shed and have been trying to research information on it, however, come up with not much. It is a 1945 Jailbar, but doesn't have the full 18 bars on the grill. This may be a silly question but if I don't ask won't know, did they only come out with 18 bars on the grill please?
Your truck looks great, Wayne! My truck should look much like that in another month or two. 1946 Ford 1/2 ton 239 flathead V-8, with modern shocks, brakes, T-5 transmission and narrowed 1975 F-150 rear end. I wanted a real driver that looks absolutely stock, and gets good fuel economy.
