What do I have here?

Hi all,

Been looking around the forums and it seems like there is a lot of great knowledge and experience here! Could someone give me some info on my truck. All I know is that it's a Marmon-Herrington F6 All-wheel-drive.

Thanks!

Hello Smitherinez!

Great looking COE. There are some things that might be easier to decode if you shared the VIN or a pic of the VIN tag.

If it has a belt conveyor under it, it's most likely a cattle feeder. We have a bunch of old ones similar to this one around here. We would take hay and grain, and deliver it out the rear of the hopper while the truck was moving forward. Mostly just used in the winter.

If it was found on a ranch that would only make sense.

Good looking cab and sheetmetal.
Didn't we have a similar situation a couple months ago, two friends working on the same project, both posting similar questions in separate threads?

Very funny guys! Actually that is my step-dad posting in another forum--he's helping me out and we both went to the same place for info.

I don't have the VIN number. Where would I find that? I do have the chasis and motor number--does that help?

It is from our ranch, pulled out of one of the old barns. Was used as a manure spreader.

Well you are both welcome on this forum. Although, we will like the one that posts the most pictures better.
Generally the VIN is on the rating plate in the glove box. Just give us what's on that and we can go from there. If it's not there, I'm not sure about the COE's, but the VIN is stamped on the frame rail of the regular trucks. Mine was almost impossible to see though.

Are you going to leave the manure spreader on it? This truck looks like you just need to give it a bath and put it back to work.
