Many people prefer the updated creature comforts myself included. Motors aside the year a lot of the creature comforts were upgraded was 2002 but believe it may have been mid year. In the Limited line to my knowledge the Homelink, adjustable pedals, steering wheel controls, digital climate control, etc was marketed as Limited Ultimate. Also believe mid year in 2002 MY the rear VHS player was changed to DVD. The dash and center counsel cup holders were also upgraded in either 01 or 02. The middle buckets debuted in 2002 which a lot of people like and there was an option for 2 tone leather seats in 02 Limited's. Early X's have the 6 disc in the center counsel and later ones in the dash/stereo.
I like the darker colored 2 tone seats found the Eddie Bauer but the Limited is actually higher option than the Eddie Bauer.
