They are going back together with it.
How's this for lucky...162k on original old style stc fitting and never had an issue!!!

Try having your truck sit in your driveway and you can't drive it because you're waiting on parts. It's RIGHT THERE, but you can't drive it.....

I atleast have Rudolph to drive, I can't imagine your pain...

Haven't heard yet. Said it's the last thing they do before buttoning up. My luck they'll say new turbo and I'll say no. But more than likely it's the unison ring.

So a 3 day job is really a 2 week job......sounds like it is when I do my own stuff. I guess they are close. Called me today and asked what oil I used so they could change it. Sure hope I get a call tomorrow. The wife is starting to get mad about not having a vehicle.

Better they take their time and do it right, than rush it and hope it's right.

Yeah that's what I explained to the wife.
So she is done and ready. Ebp fixed the turbo. Got hg,studs,light head work,new Mishi tstat, gp,right and left gp harness,dp,standpipes,stc,ebp,ebp harness,vgt harness,rocker gaskets,push rods,injectors oringed, and Sinister ypipe (only because they had it on hand and I didn't want to wait) total out the door 5237. A bit over what I wanted but it's done. Will pick it up in the morning.

sweet, sounds like you'll have a new truck...

Not bad considering the cost of a new diesel pick-up is close to 70K.......

How many miles does she have on her?

So, it sounds like the EBP sensor or harness was causing the issue with the turbo?

Yep. Didn't make sense to me as the previous time I had the issue with ebp I unplugged it and all was normal. I suspect the reason why that didn't work this time was because the pigtail was bad and shorting. Sounds reasonable.
