If i did have to replace the turbo I'd stay stock i suppose. Mine is in good shape aside from the sticking, Now if i was going to do injectors, tuning, and exhaust i would probably go with a powermax.

I have been throwing around the idea of upgrading my "stock" reman. turbo. If it were me, i would go with a powermax or a kc turbo if a replacement was needed.

Yeah I think I'll be good. One thing I hate is sending to a shop with one price then leaving with another but I was pretty straight forward and won't take anything more. These are pretty good guys. I even asked for pics of the hg and they actually take video (sound familiar) I'd still rather take a swift kick in the tenders as to have to deal with a shop Getting the studs done is for exactly the reason you said piece of mind and be done with it.
