Need exhaust help

So I decided to redo my exhaust. (01 5.4) I deleted the rear cats and replaced them with pipe and put on a thrush chambered muffler dumped before the rear axle. Sounds nice, no check engine light. Problem is I welded the replacement pipes in with the exhaust on the truck so I couldn't get to the top of the pipes with my welder. The passenger side cat delete pipe has a huge leak that is loud while idling and also ticks at certain speeds while driving. Think I could unbolt the exhaust from my manifolds and drop it down and out enough to weld up the leak?

some companies make at "exhaust tape" that wraps the joint to fix leaks... Life would be dependant on the temp at that point. Further away from the manifold , the better it should work.

Thanks for that idea, I feel like that would be a temporary fix though. When I got home from work tonight I soaked down the manifold to exhaust nuts with pb blaster while it was still hot. The drivers side look pretty easy to get to from under the truck but the passenger side look more accessible from the fenderwell. Weather permitting I'll see what I can do tomorrow

Exhaust tape and a good clamp like one of these from your local parts store.
