Please help me identify this part?
Hello,

Can someone please help me identify this part? I believe this part is causing my check engine light to continually come on, due to worn out connectors (I.e. Vacuum leak)! Thanks in advance!

That is your " EGR vacuum solenoid " It opens and closes the EGR valve.. What is the code you are getting?

I replaced all three O2 sensors and still getting an O2 code. Several people have told me I most likely have a vacuum leak.

What connects the EGR solenoid to the engine? Both ends are extremely worn so I want to replace the entire connector. Thanks

Isn't the EGR solenoid closer to the engine (lower portion of the picture)?

What year is your truck? Is that the older 5.0?

Looks like it could be the "Fuel Vapor Return Tube" Part Number F5TZ-9G271-C, I cannot find any diagrams or pictures of it so I can't say for sure. This part is discontinued from ford, so unless you find NOS you may have to go aftermarket and then who knows what it would be labeled as.

They may be able to help more in the 87-96 F150 board.

You may be misinterpreting the code and changing part that are not the problem.
What is the code/s your getting?

CARQUEST by BWD EGR Vacuum Solenoid EGR285: Advance Auto Parts

But if you give us the codes then we can help.
