Does anyone have recommendations on someone/shop that would do a job like this?
I am not getting a very good vibe from some of the "Diesel" shops I have down this way, and with my foot out of commission, I am not up to doing it myself.
Thank you for the interest! I know that many folks over on the Excursion side have been running the Power Stop kit without any issues. I am hoping to have the same success they have had.
I have Powerslot Cryo treated rotors and Hawk LTS pads for the front with O'Reillys rotors and Hawk pads for the read and it is a very solid setup. Definitely recommended, especially one of the go to sets here.
The Powerstop kits have been increasing in popularity as well, haven't heard anything bad.
Drew- I would be concerned with who makes those dimpled rotors. IE where they are made more specifically. Powerslot I have is made by Centric which incorporates Stop Tech and Powerslot.
So, I got the parts for the brakes, and my new wheels and tires show up next week. So I am thinking that maybe we could do the brake party sometime after Friday the 18th. Anyone on board for a teardown and build up on my Excursion?
I will supply Pizza and sodas, but no Alcohol, as I don't drink.
So, because of the nice weather, we are going to try and tackle the brakes tomorrow (Thursday 17). If anyone is interested in swinging by (south of Sumner) to get their hands dirty or to say hello, feel free to PM me for the address.
