subwoofer box

hey all,
i have a 2015 f250 and the speaker system is incredible but i was wanting to still put in a sub. i went to a shop and they said that there wasn't any room in the cab to put in a sub box in. under the seat was too small of a space and there wasn't any more space behind the seats. i was wondering if any of you had any idea of a sub that could fit underneath the seat if i were to take out the tool boxes under the seats.

There's plenty of room behind the seat. You have to use "shallow mount" speaker(s), and trim some of the cab insulation on the back wall - but it all fits and you can keep your under seat storage. I use a dual 10" box.

I have a dual 10# box, a pull from an earlier GM truck that fit behind the seat. I attached the amplifier and connector block to the front of the box. The box is pyramidal and sloped away from the front.

I have the 4 speaker stock radio in my 15 xlt f350 crewcab. I put this Sound Ordnance B-8PTD

125-watt compact powered subwoofer from crutchfield and it added more than enough bass for me. If you like a ton of bass then get the 2 12" or 10" subs. I like this cause it fits nicely right behind the left rear seat. Just had to move jack tools and I still have the storage under the rear seats.

Im not sure if there is a difference between the 07 and 08, but you could get some plywood and make your own. Here some pics from an 07 crewcab.

I have the factory installed amp and 8 sub woofer under my rear seat. I was wondering what amp should I use to replace the factory amp? I don't want to boom I just want it all to work. I believe the AMP is bad as I don't get any music out of speaker in the truck. But when I took speaker out and checked it with house stereo, it worked fine. I don't want to modify anything, I just want to use the current box and speaker.
Thanks

fastening options

I know this is an old thread, but I'm building a similar box and was wondering how you fastened it to the truck? Thanks for any advice,
Ken
