Slowly buying stuff for my truck. Just want to know if I am missing something while its apart. Buying-
Frx
New fuel/oil hoses. Hpx done already
Outlet and pedestal for my grp38r
Plenums and boots
Up pipes
Is there anything else in that area I should buy? Thanks
I apologize, disregard my previous statement. The opposite is true from what I have read. As I understand it, your best wheel for the 38R is to stay with the wheel Garrett put in it and not to change it out.

Are you going with stock Plenums or Riffraffs billet Plenums?
I billet ones are very nice. Defiantly don't ever have to worry about them again. The metal ones with gasket from Ford not so much. Not a matter of if but when.
I went with the inserts only when I did the GTP38R install. The inserts really give you a lot more to bite on with the clamps without worrying about deforming the metal. Those billet ones are nice for sure, but the price tag is too.

I agree. Where not cheap. But figured no matter what I new, new engine, newer 7.3 or whatever. They could come with me.

Don't forget the high flow CVD's from Clay. I just swapped mine out this weekend, what a huge fuel suply restrictor the OEM check valves are.
Don't forget to order new fuel line o-rings when you order the CVD's.
