Zero ICP pressure

Ok 2004 6.0. Recent work done is changed the number 8 injector. Thing was running great. Driving down the highway on a slight grade. Heard a pop and no power at all. Didn't see any smoke. Run the scanner get codes for ICP pressure and ICP pressure long crank. Icp pressure shows zero with ICP volts at .8. IPR climbs to 85%. Obviously need to check where I lost did work but any other suggestion yall can think of?

If it's a late 2004, the STC fitting is probably toast. Pull the plug on the ICP and try starting. If that's a no go, you'll need an air test.

If early 2004 HPOP is toast.

It is an early 04. Last time the pump went out though I still had some pressure even when hot but doesnt mean this one didnt completely take a dump. Tomorrow I'll check under valve cover to make sure.

STC is 2005-2007

Time to air check the HPO system either way.

We have a winner!. And as a lovely parting gift for the loser, we have a new HPOP on the way. Tell him what he's won Bob!
"Well Jim, we would tell Mr Contestant to get the better Adrenaline pump for the early builds"

In all seriousness though, this sounds exactly like my scenario. Just started up a slight grade, pulling a trailer with a skidloader. I got to the top and she just lost power, no bang or whimper, as if someone had reached over and took the key out. I did the air test of course, and even after replacing the ICP that was oil soaked ended up replacing the pump. Also check IPR

You should still rule out unplugging the ICP and see if she lights, not a real treat to do this on the early builds however.

Curious cheezit, being a former Master Tech, how was your success with the OEM pumps on the early builds? I never hear much good about the OEM's and was wondering were come backs that common? I ask because I stuck an OEM back in.

Well I hope what cheezit suggest is what it is cus I don't like Yalls other answers. I'll check the simpler things first and go from there. Just wanted to ask first because I know I'll start and forget something and it's always good to ask other people who aren't ticked off at the moment if you know what I mean.

Well unplugged my ICP and guess what she fired right no issues. Plugged the ICP back and she died on me. Unplugged fired right back up and still running. I hate having it behind the turbo.

It still beats the crap out of replacing the HPOP.
You might want to check that pigtail good to be sure it's not oil soaked, if it is don't bother trying to clean it up, replace with a new one.

Stick with OEM, no China made crap. They are all over the place on ebay and really cheap, both in price and quality.
