Welcome Philthy50 !!!
Sounds like you have a nice project going there. Didn't happen without pics!!!
I put a heat shield wrap over the starter of the motorhome today and checked all the fluid levels for the trip home this weekend!!! I ordered new rotors and pads for the front of the Jaguar today. I did not like the way the brakes felt when I took it out on the test drive Sunday.
I also ordered a new car buffer/polisher because my old one came up missing after moving. I want to do a good buff and polish on the Jag after I finish the tune up and oil change this weekend. Waxing with arthritis in my shoulder is no fun so I try to work smarter not harder. Going to do the Lightning too.
No, it didn't happen without pics, but the phone they are on died, and for some reason none of the pics uploaded to the cloud, hopefully I will recover them.
Taking my retirement classes and on my last week here at Ft Benning. I got my tires balanced on the Lightning yesterday and the thing rides like a dream now. I still need to change the oil, I wanted too last weekend but the rain hampered my efforts.
it might be love.

SSR came back into the shop again. Wants some insane custom work on the bumper, and a full repaint of the truck. I looked at my boss and said no way in hell ill do the work for that money. Tell the cracked out painter hes painting it the way it is too.
I do not want to spend 3 days taking apart the convertible top. I told the boss it has to stay on, and crack head has to tape it.
We going to vote tomorrow. Jacob how far off 75 are you? I be up that way Tuesday. Going to Chattanooga Valley junkyard to pickup a cab visor. Planning on hitting at least one more yard on the way back. Looking for a folding mirror switch from on 07/08 Superduty for the mirror upgrade. Going to stop by Johnson's in Griffin and grab a hydroboost if it is still there.

What are you in the middle of building? Are these yards pick a parts or do they have parts pulled waiting on you? Any yards near you have a 3G alternator? The ones near macon do not have any in good condition. Pea***** wanted 45 but the housing was rusted so I wasn't interested.
Chattanooga Valley never been to. They should have it ready for me. Johnson's is a pick ad pull yes they have plenty of old fords and I know they have plenty of 3g
.
I getting a cab visor for the truck. Getting some of the parts to do this mod
I am on my last night staying in the motorhome!!! All the fluids are checked and it's ready to make the trip back home on Saturday. Today I cleaned out my desk and turned in my key to the office. It's going to be great being at home every night!!!
I am going to change the oil in the Lightning and finish the tune up and put new front rotors and brakes on the Jaguar on Sunday and get the tag on Monday.
