Hi guys Which should i start 1st and why. The cab or chassis on a 56 f100
I suppose it really doesn't matter. I did the frame first so I would have a place to put the body parts (cab first) as they were completed. While the cab is usually the hardest part, if you do it first you have to protect it while finishing the chassis.
I guess you could also look at it like you can't build something without a good foundation.
What type of front end are guys using,
I have heard that the Jag front is the way to go. are there any threads here, I have tried looking but to no avail.

Ground up is usually the best way to get started. If you search the Forum thread: Jag Install - you should find information.
Thanks Effie what front suspension are you running cheers
I'm going with the original straight axle. I've added 4 degrees of caster and replaced all of the bushings and pens. I've also removed three spring leaves on each side. It's not going to be a Saleen Mustang, but it should ride and drive pretty well.

Hello, welcome to the forum. If you look up Bluey Zedoff in the advanced search, he has a write up on a jag IFS install in Australia and a good build thread generally with insights to the Aussie rego requirements, and local solutions for problems. Although they are different in various states of course.
Good luck with it all.
