Does yours have dual zone capabilities? We have the Pioneer AVIC NEX 7000? and it doesn't appear to have it unless it is really well hidden. Blows my mind that it wouldn't as even the old stock one had it.
Nevermind. Found a couple of YouTube videos on it. We have dual zone but I think the installers must not of hooked up the rear audio wire in back of head unit. Either that or the rca ones. Not sure which ones Control sound for videos being sent to rear screen. When I dismantled rear screen there were rca's not hooked up (did not even see a place for them to plug in actuly) yet it had a plug n play connected so I figured that was in place of. Anyways, may have Best Buy take a look.
I like unit but if you are shopping now think it has been discontinued.
The post after mine says you loose steering wheel control. I love their cameras though. As stated in a previous post map updates are $pendy! I bought it because it was supposed to have the easiest UI. Grandma and grandpa drive it all around the country. To be honest I only use it to see a map of where I already am. If I want to go somewhere I use google maps and set my phone on the screen.
On that note they do have a new version that will take prompts from your phone. So you search and set with your phone then tell the head unit to take over.

Do you mean having more than one thing on the screen at the same time? If so initially it didn't. But with a recent update when running the pioneer app I found a new screen that divides the screen into 4 zones, map, radio, weather and I forgot what the 4th is. I don't drive the X much anymore, so he update could've been from months ago!
I just ordered a Joying 4.4.4.4 quad core android head unit. Should be here this week. They really are feature packed for the money and I have had my fill of the expensive HU's that dont work any better.

I'm liking that one too, not in a big hurry to get it, so looking forward to your feedback on it.
Of all the Chinese Radios you can buy, they look like they are fairly well supported. They get good reviews elsewhere. I do get a kick out of the company videos:
My surround panel is cracked where the factory radio sits on it anyhow. I am planning on having to do a bit of minor trimming to fit it. If not that will be a bonus. I will document the install and let you all know.
UPS "lost" it at their Dallas hub. After a few calls to get them to actually put a note on the tracking number that it was in fact lost, then a few emails to "carjoying" they agreed to send me another one. I hope they aren't shipping in a glossy full color photo box of whats inside it....
I had a pioneer double din head unit in my excursion when I got it. The joying (US-JY-UQ130) 7 inch double din slides in the space vacated by the pioneer with little effort. No additional trimming or cutting. It has two sd slots one loaded with your choice of igo with here maps or sygic with maps for offline navigation. I am well satisfied for $289.
