If thats for me, I have a Kenwood KVT-512. single din head unit with a slide out and pop up screen. I didn't want to do any cutting or trimming to fit a dbl din in the opening. This way if anyone looks inside all they see is what appears to be a basic single din radio.
hooked into the lens of the third brake light. Sorry for the delay, but the website i used for photos before deleted my account. Went to another site and had to upload them all over again.
I had considered mounting my camera there. Do you have a pic with the view from that position?
Umm, 2 posts above yours, post #20 in this thread.
wow, I feel smrt...
Here's mine.
I'm running the C350 Kenwood camera with multiview and the DNX9990 head unit. I'm still working on the mount, so the camera isn't centered and the diamond plate looks a little rough.
Thats a 2x6 that extends beyond the edges of the truck and is straight. I took the pic from straight above to show how close to the rig I can see.
Here's what the 2x6 looks from the monitor. Note the way the board looks bent. It's very comfortable to look at.
The 2" screen on my rear view mirror is bright & clear
Where did you get your mirror? The ones I can find all seem to be either hundreds of dollars or just a slipover.

I know your camera came from a 2010 F150, but what about the mirror? Any particular year or model? I don't like the smaller screen but we're VERY big on keeping a stock looking interior.
