EOT is the Engine Oil Temp sensor. Tells the PCM how hot the engine is; the PCM uses it to determine fuel delivery, and to control other outputs like the EBPV.
You can usually tell the EBPV closing by the sound. When it closes, you hear a distinct "whssssshhhh" sound in the exhaust, and the engine feels pretty gutless.
I have a data log of the truck driving for about 45 mins on the highway. If anyone has AE I can send the file for data review. Maybe someone can see an issue with the data log.
I *think* the cylinder contribution test just tells you that all cylinders are working equally hard and you don't have a bad injector or other problem that would make one or more, but not all cylinders, run weak. If all cylinders are running equally weak due to a problem that affects all 8 then you could pass the cylinder contribution test even though your truck is running bad with no power. If I'm wrong on this I hope someone steps in and straightens me out.
