262 Carb question

I just had to pull the carb off of my 64, fuel was pouring out of the vent valve tube. I diagnosed a bad float, which I'll have to order most likely from Mikes carburetors, being obsolete. I also found that the jet in my carb was a 59F, and the manual calls for a 67F. My question before I order the jet, do I need to stick with the 67, or go up a size or two? I'm not sure how much E10 gas affects jet size. Living in Southern rural TN, non ethanol gas is a rarity. Thanks.

A lot of what I've been reading says larger jet for E10 due too its lower BTU content, more product for same power, but I'd call Mike's carb and verify with an expert.
No problem finding non-ethanol in my town, run it in my old stuff, small engines and even my 06 Ram. Corn is for food.

Pinhole leaks are repairable, just lay off the starbucks for a while. Soldering iron, etc.

That's a hell of a spread on the the actual jet size, nine points, from the stock #. Possible it's been drilled out, or maybe that isn't the stock carb? What do the plugs look like?

Update, I ordered a float and both the #67 and #69 jets, and rebuilt the carb yesterday. I started with the 69, and it runs like a champ. The plugs look ok. I've still got a little tweaking to do to fine tune it, but it sure runs a hell of a lot better.

So you went up 10 drill sizes on the jet, wonder what the deal was.

If I had to guess, whoever put the carb on the truck before I got it didn't know much about the Load-O-Matic setup. (Neither did I, but thanks to all of you, I've learned a lot). The carb didn't even have a Spark Control Valve on it, it had a regular Power Valve, it took me a couple of years to figure out that one. I dare say the just grabbed another carb laying around that was an 1100, and stuck it on there, not realizing it was incorrect.
