Hi scrooge,

Safety restraints are covered for five years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. To verify coverage, I recommend making an appointment at your local Ford Dealership for diagnosis. How many miles are on the truck?

@ FordService, Regardless of the initial factory warranty, since he got it CPO it gets an automatic 12/12 for all safety systems, including the seatbelt, correct? It's soon possible a 2012 is out of the 5 year window, so that could be an important factor for him. Just to clarify!

Hi Frantz,

The 12-month/12,000-mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty for CPO vehicles includes 500 components in these five groups:

- Engine, transmission, front/rear-wheel drive
- A/C, heating, electrical
- Brakes, steering, front suspension
- Hi Tech, audio
- Emissions, safety

Particular parts/services should still be verified at the dealership level, though.

So I should ask myself.... I'm just gonna assume it's under safety then.
