1995 front axel question??

Ok guys y'all have helped me out a lot in the past so hopefully you can help again. I just had my front uni give out and broke the yoke in th middle . I was wondering if I could take the one off of one of my 86s they look the same but I don't know for sure. Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you talking about the TTB drive axle? There are 3 universal joints in it which one broke? Or are you talking about the driveshaft? I'm assuming this is an f150 too.. you didn't specify.........

So the inner one on the right side or on the driveshaft that goes from the transfer case to the front diff?

The inner one but I already have them both off and they do interchange if anybody else runs into this issue just have to make sure the axel splines are the same which thankfully they were!!! Just to be clear it is the middle slip yoke not the driveshaft. Thank all of you again though!!

Yes, thanks for the spelling lesson Merriam Webster. A simple correction would have been enough, no need to be an *** to a new member.

There was a really "clever" post right before Lead Heads correcting Will's spelling. I'm sure that was the poster that Lead Head was calling names. I saw that post last night but it's been pulled now. But as an impartial third party I assure everyone that Lead Head was not bashing a new member. He was bashing someone else who desperately deserved it.

I don't recall who had made the post Lead Head was replying to. It was just an overly snotty way to correct the OP's spelling.
