Thanks for all the help. Trying to source some locally before snow comes. Friend has told the truth and I'll be compensated completely. He's still my boy but he ****ed up. Again thanks for the help.
Jim
I found some but they're $250. Friend is broke till next payday. Guess it's hurry up and wait. Thanks
Jim
Sounds pricey, just checked online local store, and though the closest one doesn't have it, the rest of them did. The manual hubs are 65 and the conversion kit is 40.
These are fairly common. This was through Advance Auto BTW, not sure what they have for options out in Pasadena.

Depends on the brand. $250 is about right for Warn Premiums. That's what I've bought, but there are definitely less expensive alternatives, some of which are probably good enough.

I believe Advance carries Mile Marker, which I believe is a good name. I can't remember right now what is on my 350, it's been years since i've locked them in...

I've had MileMarkers on mine for a few years. Still going strong. Also note that some places want you to pay out the butt for the conversion kit, when as far as I know all it really is is the spindle nut, lock ring, and lock nut that were used on the factory manual hubs. But $40 is not a bad price for all that.
I've got mile markers on mine and they work great,I think they was around $80
I didn't need the conversion kit either and they went together very easily.
But did he mention he must have rat bagged on your truck in order to accomplish that. He beat on that thing serious. That's not just play in the snow damage. That's locked up wheels deep, and hammering on it trying to get out. Not much of a friend.
Looks like impact damage to me. Note how on each side a small part appears to be bent in.
