Just installed a 2.5" leveling kit with new springs, not blocks or add-a-leaf on my 2004 F250. Truck has the FX4 suspension. It now sits slightly (3/4" to 1") lower in the rear. Will an F350 block cure this? I want the truck to sit level. I measured the truck prior and 2.5" should have been perfect. Guess I gained a little more. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mine actually measured out level, 41" from ground to all the wheel well arch centers. But it looked low in the rear. Added the block and it set perfect. Most likely gonna do the same thing with my 05'
I have same issue with my 2005 F350 DRW, figured all I needed was 2.5" level kit and then now it appears my front is higher but like mentioned I was going to give it time to settle then measure and see where I'm at.
Honestly I'm not concerned but would be curious if it does ever settle and if not I don't think I will bother fixing it is not that far off, once I add my new tires I think it will look fine.
Thanks for the replies guys. I bought Rough Country full 2.5" springs. Also purchased new 2.0 series shocks and new Panhard bar. It took all day to install and was a bear at times, but it fit as advertised and the ride is very nice. Firm and supple. My only issue is it being approximately 3/4" to 1 " lower in the back now. It may settle some since it's got 950 lbs. of 6.0 liter on it! If not, I will add a taller block in the rear and be done.
On my 2014 f250 sd FX4 with all my tools in the back i had to add two add-a-leafs before truck leveled out. New 2016 will need the same as soon as i get a chance.

I don't see a 2.5 leveling kit offered for an 04 leaf spring truck by rough country? Maybe you meant tuff country? Only reason I say is because I looked for one for my 04 at one time

Mine is a 2005 with coils. I put F350 fronts on it and it did the same thing. Higher in the front. some 1" blocks in the back got it back to level. My front never did settle a little. but its coils and not leafs.
early '04 F350 CCLB SRW 4x4 I put new 2.5 leveling full spring replacement on, it was level for a month now its about an inch lower in the front.... point is it will probably settle soon.
