Okay, I'm wondering - I see the new '05 front leveling kits on the market are 2 1/2" and are offered for both the F250 and F350. If the 350 rear blocks are taller than the 250 blocks by about 2", then wouldn't the kit actually be more suited to the F350 installation for actual 'leveling'? If I put it on my F250, wouldn't it then sit 'nose-high'?
I would think that I would need to put F350 blocks in my F250 in order to keep it 'level'. Am I missing something? It seems like it would be a pretty easy matter to change those rear blocks out, and it would give me a little more 'lift', anyway...
I'm itching to pull the trigger on this kit in order to run some bigger, more aggressive tires, but I don't want to screw up the look of the truck. Any info out there?
Why don't you measure from the hub or ground to the top center of wheel well in the front and the back, then you will have a rough estimate of the difference in height front and rear. That would be a pretty good estimate of how much higher you need the front for it to be level
Check out superlift's kits before the other guys "simple leveling kit" - key words, caster alignment. Those simple add-a-spring-block kits don't address the fouled up alignment issue that would result...
btw, on my 02 F350, the 2 1/2" leveling kit did NOT level my truck due to the higher 350 blocks, but it did make it look much better.

Have no idea as I haven't looked real close at an 05 yet. I thought the spacer was a great simple idea, but then I read superlift's comments about caster and it made me thank a little - really don't want fouled up alignment issues afterwards... Anyone else with more knowledge and/or experience, please chime in....
I have a daystar 2" leveling kit on my 05' and love it. Maintained factory ride and easy to install. No alignment issues afterwards. Rear is now 1/8" higher than front. See my gallery.
Newbie help here guys. I would like to level mine, but as it is now I just barely sneak in my garage and I fear if I raise it I won't be able to. Is it possible to lower the rear end instead? I tow a 7000# trailer and I don't want to lose any of the F350 towing properties if I lower it.
Bluezack, I ordered my kit from 4 x 4 performance parts in Memphis. They are easily available now anywhere that carries that kind of thing. The new shocks are recommended by daystar so I got a pair. Easy and works well.
I raised my garage opening 12 inches to accomodate the F350, and subsequent lifts. But then again Im nuts. (see gallery for that, its the only picture I have as I wait on delivery)

Nice looking truck - but I'll have to go with 3 " leveling on the F350 as the rear sit's 2 " higher then a F250...
SUPER V10 nice truck, I wanted to know if the 35s rubbed at all on your truck with that lift.
Boatman, yes they do rub on the back of the fender well when turning and hitting any kinda bump - I put the 2 1/2" tuff country kit on and the tuff country add-a-leafs sagged so much that I"m down to approx 1 1/2" lift now (after checking measurements) - this is why I will NEVER go with tuff country again...poor quality...IMHO...
