I've used the restoration kits on my old Explorer in the past. It looked great for about 6 months and was then back to the way it was.
On the F250 I found entirely new, CAPA certified headlight enclosures with new bulb for $35/ side. So...$25 for a polish kit or $70 for new lights.....
The new lights look great and took about as long to install as it took to polish the Explorer lights.
Replacing the headlights with new ones is ultimately what I did. Or, more correctly, I purchased new headlights, with bulbs, for about $37.00 per side, and am keeping them in their box, until it is warm enough to replace them.
