Hi everybody i have few question about vin number. I explain i waNt to buy a c600 1955 ford but the guy dont have the vin plate in the glove box he only have serial number on the frame . Firt question can i get new plate with the vin number stamped on it... He gave me the vin stamp on the frame and i want to know if it a good number the guy have the tittle in his name i just want to be sure before i buy his truck

Is it a Canadian truck, or US built? Numbers will be different. Does the number on the title match the number on the frame rail? It's the most important one, as you've seen, glovebox tags can be lost or swapped. Is it a legit frame stamping? All good questions to ask.
