Heater Blower

'77 F100 Ranger. The blower was previously working. I had some work done and now it is not. I can hear the vent opening and closing as I move the controls on the dash. There is a little trickle of hot air through the vents. So I'm fairly sure the blower is the problem. (It has factory A/C. Although that is not working at the moment either. Needs new compressor.)
So, where do I start? Blower Motor Relay?

It may be helpful to know what kind of work was performed. Can't hurt anyway.

Since this was the work done, check to make sure that switch harness connector did not come loose. Under normal conditions, check easy stuff like fuse, relay etc. If those are found to be working, start from switch and work your way out. Sometimes a problem occurs just when you are repairing something else. Coincidence....gotta love it!

Ck power, ck elec connections ect...with all the behind the dash work. And mechanical control cables.

If you have to get to the blower with an a/c box PITA. Might as well replace the heater core since you will be that far into it.

There is a ground that is provided through the selector switch control. I chased that one down a few yrs back. Fix was replace controls. May not be your issue

You can hear a CLICK, as the compressor is turning on. Each A/C 'blend door' is controlled by a separate vacuum motor (lower pic).

Compressor "kicker switch" is part of the 19B888 = A/C Vacuum Control Solenoid Assy., bolts to the back of the A/C heater control panel. All the vacuum lines connect to it.

A/C heater blower switch is 19986 (upper pic). Blower motor resistor with factory A/C is 19706 (lower pic).

NOTE: Factory installed integral A/C is combined with the heater.
