Transmission identification

I have looked at a few different posts on transmissions but am unable to verify what trans mine is. Doesn't look like the T9 or 98 as per some of the pictures because most of them look like removable bell housings. The cast numbers on mine are C01T-7006 with a J10 on the other side and then a stamped 8120 on the top at the back where the shift tower bolts to. The shift tower has a cast C41T-7222. It has a partial bell housing cast as part of the trans. It is a 4 speed non syncro behind a 8BA 239 v8 with a 11 inch clutch. The previous drivers didn't have the double clutch experience and rounded most of the gears so that is what i'm trying to locate. I have included some pictures and any help is greatly appreciated. thanks Darrell

It is a T9 spur gear 4-speed. Apparently Canadian T9s didn't have a removable half bell. Pre 1945 American T9s were cast in one piece also.

If you are patient you can probably get another T9 transmission for free. Hot rodders see no value in the gear box portion.

If you want new parts give Mac Van Pelt a call. He has a website here: Ford Truck Four Speed Parts Prices

Van Pelt is one of 4 that i have already tried but thanks. Hopefully a hot rodder has one that they will part with.

Do you value originality? For what it would cost to put that one right, you could likely install any of several more modern trannies with (gasp) synchronizers. Saginaw or B-W 4-speeds are a snap, many other choices, some with overdrive. No love for the crashboxes from my end...

I have a T9 I'm not using. How close to the border are you?

I'm 60 miles from Coutt's border crossing. I am going to Whitefish on the 28th for the weekend. How close are you to either? thanks Darrell
