For those using the fuel pressure transducer, where did you tap into get your 5v in?

I am leaning towards the MAF sensor wire unless there is something easier??

Thanks Josh. I was able to locate the wire. So each one of the wires in that bundle have heat shrink at the end. Is there a resistor in the heat shrink?

I think the heat shrink is keep the bundle from shorting out.

Low fuel pressure

Just finished up the DB fuel pressure gauge install. I am setting at 52-55 at idle and drops to 42 under moderate acceleration. Cruising speed its around 50-52.

I have the blue spring and new motorcraft filters. I guess the pump is weak?

You put everything back as it was?

Tough to say if the FP is weak or the Blue Spring didn't raise it enough. I'm sitting at 70+ psi at most times

Not sure what you mean? I didn't uninstall it if that is what you are asking. I installed the blue spring right after I bought the truck 2ish years ago.

Here is a few pics of the install and I used the PTOVREF wire you suggested. I also confirmed that I have 5v.

Certainly is possible the BP is getting weak. Could try stretching it a smidge or just buying a new blue spring by itself on eBay.

Don't forget to adjust the high and low of the sensor bias. Mine is 4.5v 100 psi max.

Your the man Josh. After setting up the perimeters per the tutorial the fuel pressure at idle is now 70-71 psi!! I feel good about that!
