What do you guys think of the compressor below for filling tires and such?

Amazon.com: DEWALT DWFP55126 6-Gallon 165 PSI Pancake Compressor: Home Improvement
That is less than 1 Cu/ft of air @ 90PSI. Might take a while to fill one of our tires.
It would get the job done if your not in any type of hurry or the tire is only low.

The 165 PSI is MAX and you only see the 2.6 SCFM at 90 PSI. Still don't think
you would have much to work with.

Good to know. Thanks.

Was thinking for just topping mostly and using it for the small cars I have, might as well hold out for the larger 200psi 20 gallon later.

What do you think of this kit and Impact driver? Currently HD is having a sale that goes through Wednesday where you buy the kit and receive $150 towards a accessory or tool which I would use on the Impact. I looked over the other Milwaukee kit and this drill seems to have more power. Also comes with larger batteries. I am using this to upgrade from my Craftsman Ni-cad set. The Rigid set has a better warranty however the impact provided has half the power of the Milwaukee.

The Lithium-Ion will be far lighter than the nicad. Looks like a good kit.
The only thing I would think about adding some time when they go on
sale would be a smaller 3/8" drill. The 1/2" can be a bit too much on small
things. Sometimes smaller is better.

I have 2 Rigid drills a 3/8" & 1/2" when doing a lot of small holes or running
smaller screws the 3/8" is so much easier to use do to the smaller size stuff.

But back to the question. I think what ever one you get it's better than dragging
a cord or hose around.

Cool, I may get some smaller 12v stuff later on. Will see how that goes.

Compressor thing was more an idea. Don't really have the space for it.

Eventually when I run out of cool stuff to do on my Bronco, I would like to invest in onboard air for various uses. There is an AC compressor that ford put out in the 80s that I had in my 82 mustang, they can be retrofitted to be used as an onboard air compressor powered by your engine. Add in a tank somewhere discrete with a coiled line and some adapters, I should be good to go. I'm not totally sure how they work but I imagine of they build enough pressure, the clutch will disengage automatically so it doesn't build too much.

I imagine you could also run a line directly from the compressor to whatever tire or object I am working with, that way I don't drain the tank and have to keep refilling it.

I have to look into more before I did something like that but its an idea that sounds pretty good.

Low and left.

In other news. I picked up this Curt Hitch cover yesterday and put it on today. I didn't want one that had a name or logo on it.

I ordered a valve compressor for the 6.0 today. Can't beat $72.00 for it.
It's almost $200 from Rotunda.

The regulator is a piece of crap. It's used on other brands as well. The threads
strip out on the plastic ****. Costs about $20 to replace it with something better.
I've got the info somewhere if you need it.

I always am, part of the hazards of being a road warrior (not the real word but we are trying to clean up our act).I want to go to the house and play with the Bronco on the beach but gotta get done here in Mexico and they're talking about me going to Argentina in February.
The big white one's the 14 F250.
