Good morning everyone. Mason spent the night with grandma and grandpa. Jackie and I are hanging out with Owen enjoying some eggnog lattes I made. Jackie keeps saying the espresso maker was the best Christmas gift she ever gave me!

29 at the compound, been cutting branches and trees all afternoon that came down with all the ice. May need to get a larger saw, current one is only 16" bar usually good enough but I got one tree down that is much larger. Almost feeling like a logger but come in every 1.5 to 2 hrs to warm up so I guess I can't claim that. Maybe just getting to old for the cold.
Warmer clothes will help....

Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Went to the gun club for a work party this morning. Car is still there. A little more snow and more freeze and the 2wd cars couldn't move on the slightly inclined parking lot outside the club house or the driveway up the hill. Mark and his 4x4 F250 Extended Cab V10 brought myself and Richard up the hill and took us home. Supposed to be freezing rain tonight that won't help the car recoveries any at all.
If it doesn't soften up a bit, I'll have to put chains on the car tomorrow and try to get it out that way.
Need to get the car fueled up and loaded up for our anniversary trip. There again maybe we will take the pickup. Wouldn't be the first time I guess.
