Morning all, 30 here Freezing rain all night have an inch over everything. Electricity was out from about 8PM last night til 2 AM. Glad I did the generator! One large Alder about 2 FT thick trunk and about 60 Ft long down. The rest is just large branches.
Going to wait until it start to melt before I start the chain saw. Not interested in sliding around with that running. Fire wood anyone?

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 26 with right at an inch of snow on the ground. Roads, (secondary anyway) are compact ice and snow. Haven't been out to Death Alley to see what it is like.
I have the car deiced and the pickup block heater plugged in. Warden has to go to the bank today and if the Cedar Plank at the Casino is open today, I'll take her into work.

Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Casino called and told the Warden not to come in today, they were going to close up the Cedar Plank for the day. Went to the bank and they were closed. So, we went down and swept the snow off the boat cover and made sure everything was good with the camper.
Warden is making home made bread now.....

I love home made bread and why my wife doesn't make it. She always made sweet bread this time of year but hasn't yet. I might have to ask why...

Be careful, she just might have an apron their that fits you. Since the kids flew the coop, I seem to get the KP cleanup duty.

16 degrees now....we ended up with about a foot of snow, so I spent the afternoon on the tractor cleaning the driveway. I did get stuck once and had to fire up one of the antique tractors to get out. Have a little more to do tomorrow. Felt good to come in this evening and turn up the heat.
