I'm just talking about the buttons. They come right out of the transmitters when you pry them apart. No covers or anything. I have never had one of these fobs die on me. They have been in fish tanks, mud puddles, and all sorts of mayhem. Just an option to get clean buttons if you can't get the programming to work.
