OK...here goes.. Don Meister
There was a Saturday Night Live skit years back that showcased "The Don Meister". And then there was the Burgermeister Meisterburger from the Christmas special...ugh. I've heard them all, lol. Many a black eye administered and received in grade school...

Never watched SNL, But your name looks stout to me.
I like it, worth giving a bloke a poke or two over!
I, too, like to address people by their given name.
Which is why I include my name in my signature line. When others do that I usually refer to them by their name. If not I use their screen name. And personally I don't mind if people use my real name or screen name (although if they only use my "screen first name" and call me "Nothing" it does seem a little deprecating)

I do the same Bob.
When I first joined, this was the first forum I had been a part of. (And was a young'in) so, I didn't have a very creative name. When I joined the Ranger forum for my 02 Ford Ranger, it was my second Ranger, so I made up Ranger:APB. First part for my trucks, second for my initials. Wish I could change this forum name, but that's all right.

I wish also that I could change my user name given my vocation but the truth remains. I bleed Ford Blue. Henry Ford, T.A.Edison, and Harvey Firestone. The true innovators of the hobby that we all enjoy to this day....Without all of the them, where would we be ? we wouldn't.....be.
Have an 1965 mustang with 200 ci inline six that i got when i was 14. Still have it! TC is for my 1987 Thunderbird turbo coupe with 2.3 t-3 turbo running 18psi of boost infront of a t-5 trans. Alot of mods done to the tbird. Fun car.

I don't disagree with you but, I'm sure if we didn't have those particular innovators, surely there would have been other famous names on that list.
