Scangauge won't read EBP

Is there something special about the early builds that the SG II won't read EBP? Anyone else have this issue?
Not currently having issues but would be nice to know this parameter, or if there is another x gauge or something to monitor.

Maybe two different xcodes for early/late models? I believe early build EBP can be bypassed with no issue because the turbo gets its parameters elseware.. Late models ebp is used in either "true" or default. I run my 05 with the ebp unplugged simply because I haven't had the time to order parts with no issue other than no turbo at normal idle

I've never been able to get an EBP reading on an 03, same code works great for my 05.

After reflash 06E17 the 03-04 trucks use inferred EBP, that is to say it no longer reads the sensor.
Here is some detailed info : https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post14911713

Thanks Rusty, it appears the EBP sensor does very little on my truck then. Good to know that I need to focus on the other sensors if issues arise.

Don't completely ignor it, EBP sensor and its wiring can still (and often does) short vRef. It's still toward the top of the list of things to look at on no start and even sometimes no crank no matter what the year model or flash version.
