fuel filter issues
I need some help. I changed the fuel filters on my 2011 f250 and cant seem to get it fired. I thought I primed it enough but it would not start and now I killed my battery. I took the frame filter and small filter back off and put back on and they seemed on correctly. I pulled the codes and now I'm getting a critical low fuel pressure error. I have a charger on my batteries overnight.
Any info would be appreciated.

you should replace the fram with motorcraft filters.
dont know about your year, but on my 2010
motorcraft primary filter has a bleed hole and install the filter with the air bleed hole at the 12:00 position?
also, there is a 6 cycle ingnition on and off before running it to bleed out all the air.
on the secondary filter...there is often a white gel that has to cleaned out on the inside.
you should also drain the primary frequently to prevent water accumilation.
post back the results.

I purchased motorcraft. After recharging my batteries last night I went thorough the 6 cycle purge process several more times without fixing the issue. I had the truck towed up to Tire Kingdom. The manager came out and pulled the lines off the unit in the engine bay, primed it one more time and it started. I'm not really sure what fixed it but am happy he got it running and did not charge me.
