Header Swap

I've been a member of this forum for a few years but have never been to this section. I'm just now getting ready to make plans to wire and start the 5.0 motor that I put in my old '53 F100. The motor came out of a 1990 police Mustang SSP. The motor came with stock exhaust manifolds but the guy that I bought it from threw in a set of BBK stainless steel headers. I'm thinking about installing the headers but don't know if I will need to retune the ECU. I'm not a techy guy so this EFI and ECU stuff is new to me.

Thanks for any pointers.

No you won't need to retune the PCM for headers. That is the beauty of the EFI system in these cars it's constantly self adjusting to the engines requirements, but hopefully you have the complete EFI wiring harness and the matching PCM/MAF meter for it as well.
