Headers...
Will headers from an 80 to 96 fit a 78 f100 2wd? I am going to install a 89 efi 460 in my 78 flareside and am shopping around for headers. I am under the impression that 460 headers differ between the carb and efi motors, so i may have to use headers designed for a efi truck but would like to know in advance if they will fit.

I just got my headers from L&L for my 460 EFI swap in my '78, for and extra $40 they will change the flange over to the EFI style. The headers were stupid expensive ($620 coated and shipped) but I'm glad I spent the money. They are some of the nicest headers I've purchased. And their customer service is awesome.

Thanks For The Info, Where Did You Order Them From? And How Did The Swap Turn Out? Any Pics? Thas's A Lot Of Cash For Headers, But I Got The Donor Truck Real Cheep And I Knew I Would Have To Shell Out Somewhere. Thanks Again

I ordered them from L&L. I haven't finished the swap, the motor is almost together. I'm waiting on getting the heads back from the machinist. He's removing 7 broken exhaust studs. I still have a bunch of stuff that I need to order, but it's getting closer.
