Could be true but still doesn't explain why i have a turbo hiss at idle on cold start then cuts out after 45 seconds

The VGT cycles, now about your intake filter, you have a few codes.

K&n filter and elbow. Crap for these trucks i know. Was planning on replacing the filter with an s&b drop in and keeping the elbow

The 6.0L is fly by wire, you need to address the problem because the engine is not seeing the proper intake readings.

So are you thinking the restriction at the air filter is the cause for the turbo hiss dropping at idle and the consistent low ebp numbers?

No you have codes for the MAF and IAT that need to be addressed because of the K&N filter, assuming. A stock filter is good up to 500HP and I use a stock filter with 426HP.

You would have to have extensive upgrades to hit 500 at the rear wheels and without a dyno run, it would be a guess. Correct the items one by one because everything the sensors see adjust the engine management.
