When is the last time that you cleaned your EBP tube and sensor?
Do you have any way of monitoring Boost, MAP, EBP at KOEO and then again at KOER?
The truck in my sig goes on and off at idle, just not as rapidly as yours.

There was a recent post that will help you get the remainder of the readings that you need to help diagnose problems, with the exception of fuel pressure.

If the idle is low enough, the low oil pressure isn't quite high enough to keep the EBPV closed tight. Once the idle kicks up, it should keep it from cycling. If your high-idle is going and the cycling still occurs, this could be the EBP sensor, the EBPV, your oil pump, the oil pickup seal, or the PCM is "on the verge" of shutting the EBPV off.

The idle is high enough I think. It does the high idle that shuts off when I step on the brake to shift into gear. I should have added that some days it does perform as it should. I'll look into the sensor and cleaning and rule those out and go from there.
