back light ford emblem ?

i have been thinking of backlighting my front ford emblem. i think they put a piece of optical fiber type film behind the oem emblem so that there is an illuminated boarder around the badge
wondered if any one has one or seen one in person
and if so how it looked

Sounds cool, but be careful putting anything on your truck that can be considered a blue light. I think blue lights are illegal in most places.

I just put these on mine, available in red, amber, white. RECON Part # 264286AM - 11-16 Ford SUPERDUTY F350 F-350 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 Illuminated Emblems 2-Piece Kit Includes Driver & Passenger Side Fender Emblems in Chrome - F350 in AMBER ILLUMINATION They look real good and simple install.

those are nice looking but most of us with 99-07 rigs don't have those vents to work with(darn)

it just seems automobile lighting has come so far in the last few years there are some nice lighting upgrades we can do to our trucks to give them a little more style
