Wanting to purchase an illuminated Ford emblem for my grille

I would want one too but I think they've been discontinued. There has been talk of this before:

I have never seen one (I'm not saying they dont exist) but because the ford logo is blue I would assume the illumination would be blue too. So I warn you, ANY forward facing blue light WILL get you ticketed, and in some states so will rear facing lights.
Just be careful, its a big ticket. In California a forward facing blue light is $465

Ya, Spooner's right.
California is VERY strict about forward facing colored lamps.
In fact, in California, the only requirement for emergency vehicle warning is that the vehicle display a steady burning red light, visible to 1,000-feet (CVC 25252). Which is why for a long time, the CHP only had one steady-red light on unmarked cars, because that is the only requirement for emergency vehicles in CA. All of the flashy stuff is simply extra.
Also in California, forward facing blue lighting is only authorized for police vehicles (CVC 25258). An illuminated Ford Oval would most likely result in a cite.
To my knowledge, in California, you can have any color in the rear of your vehicle because it can't be used to clear traffic.
