If it sounds as aggressive as the MBRP 3" 409 SS cat back single side exit with resonator that I recently put on my '13 5.0, you're gonna like it. It's bit louder than I had expected, but it's growing on me.
I haven't heard an aftermrket catback on an Ecoboost that sounded good to me.
I had a catless downpipe on my 2011 that I liked. The turbos whislted like crazy. During normal driving it wasn't much different than stock, but it was pretty loud when you put the pedal to the metal.
The problem is that it is very difficult to truly get the right sound when listening on the internet. The other thing is that what sounds good and not too loud may not be the same for someone else. Me personally I would want an exhaust to just FLOW better and from what I have heard the best way to do that is to get the downpipes replaced as Nassty has stated.

Exactly! My exhaust is much louder that I had expected by listening to the videos beforehand. I even contacted MBRP to ask about an optional muffler to quiet it down some. They offer one, but at the expense of performance due to more restriction. With performance comes the added loudness of the straight-thru design. Even my wife has sold me on the fact that I should leave it be. Go figure. She has driven it and likes the added performance.
That is the reason I asked if anyone had actually heard what it sounds like. The sound clips can be deceiving. I like the balanced look of dual pipes out the back. Depending on how much the package deal is, I may add the Y pipe to the short term additions.

That's all I really want myself, just the dual tail pipes out the sides.
I havent found an aftermarket EB exhaust to sound great as of yet. Thats the choice we make to go with the v6 over the 5.0, or 6.2 for the benefit of more power. It just wont ever sound as good as any V8.
