Hello all; My wipers have a problem, when I turn them on to the lowest delay they work ok, the problem is when I shut them off they don't turn off and continue to delay wipe. Would a reprogram fix this or would it be easier to disconnect the battery to perform a full reset. I am not a home mechanic but I can follow any directions. Any help is appreciated.
Some info on the truck would be helpful. Is it still under the 3/36 B2B warranty?
Sorry, it is now out of warranty.it is a 2013 xlt xtr 3.6 l ecoboost. I made sure that the extra wipe is off. If I go to the second click on the intermittent and then turn if off, it stays off.

Hi riclar,
What's the current odometer reading? Please send it over; I'll see how to help.
Hi all. I have the same problem. Went out today and started the truck. 13 f150, super cab, 5.0, 20k. The wiper went on. Looked down and the switch was off. Tried to start and stop several times, the wipers were still on. Had to go out to finish shopping. Drove around with wipers operating in delay. Very frustrating. I found another thread on this when I got home. I thought I was going to have to pull a fuse. Of course this had to happen on Christmas Eve. I turned the wipers on high and off several times. That seemed to solve the problem. All is ok now. It is about 70 out right now in Pa. I turned on the air in defrost mode. Don't know if that made a difference but its operating normally now. I'm still under warranty so I'll have it checked next week. Just thought this might help someone. Merry Christmas. Maybe this is a reason to now buy a 16, we'll see.
